Opening of Our New Packaging Facility
Agrosprint Ltd. has launched another major development program, the first milestone of which is the inauguration of a fully automated packaging facility covering nearly 2,600 square meters.
The new unit, integrated with the company’s processing operations, has an annual packaging capacity of approximately 40,000 tonnes of frozen finished products, serving both the Hungarian market and international export destinations. As part of the investment, not only the packaging process itself but also carton loading and palletizing have become fully automated through advanced robotic technology. Our highly successful vegetable mix products are also produced on automated packaging lines within the facility. As a result of the project, Agrosprint’s packaging capacity has doubled.
The official opening ceremony took place on 30 January 2026 and was attended by several distinguished guests, including Péter Szijjártó, Sándor F. Kovács, and Tibor Szepesi.

During the inauguration, Agrosprint’s management also announced additional investments totaling nearly HUF 9 billion, forming part of a comprehensive development strategy designed to address both domestic and international market challenges. The program includes significant product innovation initiatives alongside capacity expansion and technological modernization.
The newly created processing and packaging capacity will enable the company to handle industrial vegetables grown on an additional 2,000–2,500 hectares of agricultural land.
It is important to note that the primary objective of this investment is not workforce expansion, but rather a substantial increase in the proportion of highly qualified employees. The advanced level of automation implemented throughout the facility requires specialized expertise and technical competence, supporting Agrosprint’s long-term commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
